Are those matte paint jobs still a b’ to keep clean? They sure look good though. 

Loving the looks of these new Mercs! Would definitely take one over a BMW, though maybe not over an Audi.

Fingers crossed the interior is very much by Toyota. I tend to love their interiors, and I’d hope they’d get creative with this one.

OK, now I’m excited again. This has taken so long, I began to lose interest (much like the NSX), and then the Z4 debuted and it looked meh. But I’m really liking what I see form-wise, and it’s good to hear the initial driving impressions are positive. 

Why does the 992 come out 20 years after the 993? I wish their number system made more sense. Aside from that...looks pretty good! Love the rear in particular with that connected horizontal tail light.

Why the old 2.4 engine though? That’s what my 13-year-old TSX has! They need to drop in the new 2.0 turbo from the Accord and bump it up further. Acuras should have better horsepower numbers than Hondas.

I think the black grill looks cheap, and I really don’t like (or get) the weird black plastic pieces jutting out underneath the grill. Why are those there? They look like a mistake and clutter the design under the kidneys. Otherwise everything else is OK, but it certainly doesn’t make me swoon. And I got’s to swoon…

I freaking love that blue stripe on white and blue accents! Looks so good!

They should have painted it Riviera Blue, then it would have been perfect!

This is good to hear, as it’s a likely scenario to play out for me and my manual-hating wife. 

I like the new lower grill and the old upper grill. When I place my order, I’ll be sure and have them make it like that for me. Because I’m rich!
