It certainly helped prove the general suspicion that the NFC is the vastly superior conference. There were 4 or 5 teams in the NFC better than ANYONE in the AFC this year. The real NFL Championship was decided when Richard Sherman put his hand on that ball vs. SF.

Bruno Mars is pretty much 14 year old girl music but he did put together a nice show and it was nice enough. This is the Super Bowl, they aren't going to do anything to distract from PepsiFordGoDaddy time, which is all anyone actually cares about. The closest you'll ever see to actual art was Prince a few years back.

Is your momma a Pacer or something? Settle down, pal.

Wye Oak is as a sweet band to see live. Saw them open for Dirty Projectors, another stellar live band, and they definitely held their own.

By itself, this doesn't mean much. Foremost, Kroenke is trying to increase his leverage in the negotiations. Right now, with the city refusing to meet the $700 Ed Jones proposal, Kroenke doesn't can't gain much more leverage without stepping the Rams down the road to moving further. If you're talking that much, I

So Doyel, like the crybaby fuckwad he is, filed a story on how Marshawn Lynch didn't talk to them and it hurt his feelings? Honestly, not that Lynch hasn't had off the field incidents or deserves to be venerated as some sort of hero, but if I was Marginalized Black Athlete X, I wouldn't talk to the national media

Mmmkay, what happened for the other 39 points that were scored?

"Hey Ernest, get off that fuckin' welder for a minute, we need to time your 40."

If DeMarre Carroll can barely affect Durant, I don't know who can. Carroll actually did a good job defending him last night and is a tall athletic guy and at times really seemed to disrupt Durant's flow. It didn't matter because when crunch time came, Durant just ignores defenders and makes incredibly improbable shots

Oh yeah as far as blaming Grantland for her suicide, that's an insane thing to do. Vanderbilt had built her company on lies and exaggerations and to blame Hannan for exposing that part is pretty silly. It comes with the territory though that when you do something unethical it colors everything. Hannan's article will

I do agree that the defensive rules are a large part of the problem but they are not going anywhere that I can see so I think one of the only things that can be done is to shorten up the posts. The other option to consider is widening the hashes to make for tougher angles in close, but that will probably never happen.

Here's what I think you deserve in the modern, defense-free NFL for getting within 30 yards: nothing.

I would argue 30 to 35 yards out is not close to being considered "deep" for modern kickers especially with today's success rates from 40+ and 50+

Teams shouldn't be getting free points just because they can get it to within 35 yds of the end zone, that was never the point of the FG.

Honestly, what the fuck was up with that? They needed help to make OJ look more sinister?

I love you

Holy shit! How have I never seen this?

The pitchfork mob won't listen to this sensible opinion but the solution is not changing the basis of law but to stop hiding and pretending abuse isn't common and rampant and creating an environment where children can come forward without shame.

I don't think anyone is saying immoral, it's illegal. There's a huge difference. Ask a black person.

There is no reason those things are mutually exclusive
