Why not just make a great movie with girls as the stars? “All girl spinoff movies” to me, come across about as much of an ignorant promo for girl power as the email I got from my daughters co-ed basketball league listing all the reasons why it’s great that they are creating an all girls sub-league such as:

I’m not saying there is any glamor in owning a cobalt.The Acura is better looking without a doubt. But it’s still a 14 year old Acura. Not exactly the golden age for that brand. Do you know what an extra 200 ft lbs of tq feels like in a car that size. Buy the cobalt, rip the rear wing off, and have your fun.

But then, days or weeks later, you realize you are driving around in a 12 year old Chevy Cobalt BY CHOICE and you have an existential breakdown.

First, this isn’t a collectible folks, this thing isn’t appreciating and unless there is a Fast and Furious 19 that becomes a cult favorite with this car, it never will.

This is the wrong message.

This is what I like about GM and Ford’s approach. They are doing all their testing privately with U-Michigan and Michigan State (because its close to home for them) rather than just spawning it on the public for beta testing like Tesla and Uber.

Honestly I’m not sad at all about this.  It’s actually encouraging to me that so many EVs are being sold.

I held out till about 2016. Then gave up on my daily.  My old Jeep is still a stick shift and I love driving it, but sitting in traffic on the daily I’d rather be lazy.
