Yes, much more fun in those cars IMHO

yeah, styling was lame so this is often overlooked but it was very quick.

or amazon, and Hundai owners can put it on monthly reorder. So their oil just shows up at their door every month.

wholly hell, is that a Broken Lizard slow clap GIF?

old, worn, British sports cars.

braking is afterthought.

There are already similar lawsuits in the US. I’m sure the court will entertain it in both countries at least for a little.

I think Canadian law is similar to US law but yes has it differences. Most notably court reporters have a special key on their stenotype machine solely for the word “eh” and the judge is obligated to provide a recess at least twice a day for poutine and Tim Hortons.

To survive the early stages of a lawsuit the plaintiff will need to convince the court that there is at least a modicum of evidence that GM new about the issue and then lied about it. But, the plaintiff doesn’t have any evidence of GM knowing about it. It’s the “I just know they knew” approach. It will be interested

IIRC the “non-functional” Tomahawk was merely missing it’s drive chain. It was sold as such because it was not street legal and could not be sold through dealerships so was sold as non-functional to avoid liability.

Cold air intake is a close second.

So this is likely something they found and already fixed and this is just a reporting requirement.

nope, just smug sense of entitlement combined with their heavy ass EV.

This is the city’s fault too.

Range anxiety forces EV manufacturers to offer cars with excessive range/battery capacity. The majority of use cases could use the battery only range of a plug in hybrid nearly 99% of the time and get those benefits while falling back on the gas motor for that one time a year they need it.

Exactly, Musk, the self proclaimed “free speech absolutist” actually isn’t a free speech absolutist. He is just like everyone else, and a hypocrite to boot.

This will eventually make it less competitive. When you change the rules to make the pitstop easier (and quicker) for everyone you are going to shrink the difference between the fastest crew and slowest. So the advantage the best pit crew gives their team is now worth less then it was before.

Musk is only about free speech when it’s good for him. Otherwise it’s non-disclosure agreements and firings.

I totally agree. There is something endearing to owning a car that only YOU know how to start... on the 4th attempt, usually through a 6-step process.

My FIL has owned probably 30 old british sports cars since I’ve know him. He currently has 4 (3 MGs and a Morgan). All his cars are/were in excellent condition. Most are high 3 or solid 4 condition. I help him maintain them (which is like a full time job). They are just as bad as the memes unless you spend your week
