I think most of them work in customer service but a few are accountants.

That’s so American. The solution is always guns.
allegedly as recent as 2019.
The irony, I love it.
Richard is talking about the boombox feature. EVs broadcast noises to alert pedestrians, that is not the boombox feature. The boombox feature lets the driver basically blast their radio our of the speaker instead.
Would that stop all updates? Including all the ones they push out that fix things? Just curious if you can accept the updated you want and reject others?
Sure, for the passenger maybe. He has the reasonable reaction... an oh shit moment where he realizes what happened was not good, then he realizes he needs to play it softly and defers to the driver’s unequivocal defense of the technology. Capitalism overcoming his better instincts.
I thought so at first... but really the issue with other cars is a door frozen shut issue. I’ve had doors freeze shut, but never ever had a handle that wouldn’t work because IT was frozen. There is at least a chance of opening a door if the handle operates.
There is a defroster on the door handle? Probably unnecessary with most door handles but for this design would seem like a good solution.
Crashes are up but cost of repairs is what is really driving the rate hikes. Cars are much more expensive. Also, parts and repairs are much more expensive due to shortages of both parts and labor. The average cost of a new car has skyrocketed and is projected to continue to rise and that’s not going to help.
This is the other side to “updates”. I bought what I bought because I liked it that way, then it goes and gets changed. Sometimes update are great and improve things, sometimes they don’t. Sadly, you don’t get to choose, you’re just along for the ride.
The scariest part is how quickly the driver turns to justifying what happened. That level of blind support for anything is a commentary on so much of what is happening around us... on either side of any issue.
This is a great point.
If you have the HD wood trim holding your battery in it’s going to be a collectible. Just wait and see.
My guess is he thinks about food every once in awhile. But probably only between taillight binges right before his body shuts down.
Our luck it would and happen except it would go back to platform sharing with Oldsmobile and Saturn before they realized those brands were scrapped too.
That quote made me lol too.
Legality barely seems like the issue. Texas? If you are going to try and squeeze up next to some truck Bros with already fragile egos on a crowded street you’re asking for trouble, legal or not.
Maybe the Mustang GT3 is a new car, like the Mustang Mach-E. “Mustang” used to be a model... but now it’s a brand that they are going to use however they please.
Can you use the stove while also sitting on the toilet? More importantly how do your camping companions react when you do it?
