Rear quarter panels. Think about it. You can replace pretty much any other body panel except the roof with just a few bolts. Why not the rear quarters?

Exhaust flex couplers failed early (after 3.01 years) making the car fart-can loud. Fix required replacing the entire exhaust from the collectors back (including the catalytic converter) because it was all one welded unit. It was just out of warranty.

A battery short at the terminal caused the wiring harness connector to burn off. Covered under warranty... the repair required removing and replacing the entire main engine wiring harness. The entire thing. AND, the harness ground was connected to the engine block BETWEEN the engine and transfer case for the front…

side note: It’s sad that people have come to accept that a phone costing over $1,000 is OK, and also that it is disposable and OK if it is obsolete in 2 years.

Sure, A new motor for a CT6 is about 5k. Labor is another 4-7 depending on the model. remanned are about 3,500, same labor. Labor is a big cost.

$16k is crazy for any one item. You can’t deny that without drinking some coolaid.
