Yes! I immediately questioned where Joel was getting all the money from to buy the TV, XBox, furniture, etc. It's implausible at best. I know they were trying to show how much he's trying to make it fun for the kids, but it didn't ring true for me. The kids were better actors in those scenes than Joel, I felt.

If I remember correctly, the doctor told Hank he only gets one of these, presumably meaning last-minute weekend appointments. But anything that gives more screen time to Hank, and I'm in.

I was totally waiting for her to drop it, or grimace, or something. And nothing! It was great.

I don't know if I'd say most dramatic. Most overwrought, perhaps. I think Judi Dench's facial expressions were the most dramatic parts of the film. She completely nailed it. Of course her physical condition shouldn't impact whether or not she wins, and no one was arguing that it should.

I disagree. I don't think it gives her an out at all. She is still the most manipulative person in the show, especially because she blames one of her abortions on the rape, which is completely untrue. Claire was raped, but her behavior is not informed by the rape so much as it's informed by her will to power. The rape

People are criticizing the rape as an extreme form of character development, but honestly, it happens all the time, especially in college. I'm not justifying poor writing or character development, but I wasn't even slightly shocked.

No, no one could ever like Joffrey. He is purely unlikeable.

I mean, yeah, it was unrealistic in how it was portrayed, but I think she was also upset at having backstabbed a man who was like a father to her, and I think she was crying about that more than the pain.

I bought it as well, having some insider knowledge of state-level politics. DC is primarily a socially conservative arena, more so than most state capitols. And Jackie also seems like a person who in general doesn't easily reveal her emotions.

That is incredibly depressing.

Straight audience member here. Was not frightened in any way. Picked up on the subtlety immediately. Thought it was a great scene in an overall amazing episode of one of my favorite new shows.

I fully agree. I want it to be an epic fall. It will be so much fun to watch if they wrap it up.

Two of the three were in high school, though, because she was "reckless". I'm inclined to think that she does know Frank's bisexual, they have had a sex life, but it's not an important part of their relationship.

Agreed.

Edge of Heaven is really good, but a lot slower than Head On. I also like Soul Kitchen a lot, if you're in the mood for some comedy.

He is adorable. Bloody hell.

Everything must be Italian all the time. It's pretty cringe-worthy but also hilarious.

That makes sense. I want to eat all the LCK food, not so much some of the challenges.

I've seen most of the seasons as they air (when I had cable, and now I buy it on iTunes), but I've no idea who has come up with what over the years. I also adore Gail, and was also disappointed. But whatever, she looked amazing and Tom's challenge was simple and no BS.

Yeah, could be.
