Then make a comment on the article, not my post, if you don't want to engage in conversation with a stranger, and just want to talk about how much you know about ramen and how the judges are wrong and you know everything.

What is it with ramen? Every time I post anything about it, I get people telling me what authentic ramen is. Please, don't assume you know anything about what I know or don't know about ramen.
Randall, thank you so much for these perfect reviews. I felt exactly the same way about the anticlamactic-ness of this finale. And I cannot stand Andy Cohen's face.
Even though I empathize so strongly with Brooke, this episode was tough. Brooke had her finale, and though it was the worst finale in the history of television (for reasons linked in the post), she still made it. I wanted Sheldon to get there so badly, yet I'm so thrilled for Shirley! Having rewatched her season so…
I never had any problems with Hung, just found the season boring, and he's not the most emotive fellow. I got my Tre and Casey fill on the All Stars season. We'll see if I end up rewatching season 3 anyway :)
We only got a short clip of them talking, and keeping in mind that his wife is shy, I wasn't creeped out by his insistence on knowing if his son got an RBI. It was off-putting, sure, but not creepy. What bothered me more is that he didn't recognize her voice. I don't know how that's possible (same for Shirley—but I…
I kind of think he was joking about Vegas, but let his wife make the call anyway, which is adorable in so many ways.
I didn't see it in last night's either. Others are saying it was in the episode. Am I missing something?
I wanted so badly for someone to critique Padma's food, though it did look delicious. I enjoyed that we saw her picking cilantro leaves, chopping cilantro, and stirring some stuff. I'm sure it was all her and she had no help whatsoever…
Keep in mind that Sheldon's grandparents (I think, either them or his parents) came to Hawaii from the Philippines. The culture he talks about is a mixture of Philippino, Hawaiian, Chinese, and many others. To equate him with what's happening politically/culturally in the Philippines right now is, to me, shortsighted.…
I have so much to say! Sheldon and Shirley are beautiful, wonderful people, and I would be thrilled if either win. But Brooke is my favorite. I relate to her so much, it's hard to describe. She's overcome so much in her time on Top Chef. She is extremely competitive, but tries so hard to keep that in check. I get…
Yes, I did, actually. The flavors and ingredients in Mike's "Mediterranean" platter didn't work at all. He had a bone in his fish, which would usually send anyone home. Eli's lamb was undercooked, and you could see him carving it inconsistently at the table, but his flavors were really good. In general, flavor seems…
I just finished rewatching his season, and I definitely grew to dislike him as it progressed (particularly his treatment of Robin, who was far from my favorite, but still deserved respect). I dunno, when I was his age, and when it came to competing with my sister, I could see myself being a jerk, though nowhere near…
I'll admit, I think I've only seen him on a subsequent season finale, and didn't pay much attention. He was an arrogant, smug prick for sure, just not one that I downright couldn't stand.
Huh, I didn't know that. I got all my information from the reunion show.
Ed was the best, indeed.
I think the brotherhood rivalry brought out some of the worst of Mike Voltaggio. Brian wasn't a saint in that season, but he was able to keep his frustrations in check, whereas Michael wasn't, which makes sense to me. I don't excuse his jerkiness at all, but I sympathize more with him than some of the others.
Nope. I just rewatched season 2, and he's a huge jerk the entire time. Marcel was really misunderstood and bullied, just because he was a little different.
Yep, Sarah was the most insidious of the bullies. Heather didn't hide her contempt—Sarah made this whole show in the finale about how she respected Beverley, and then proceeded to not respect her and treat her like she was worthless, again. It was gross. I didn't usually watch the cast reunions, but that one was worth…
I suppose I rankled at your particular distaste for the show. It's not really important, and I'm bad at internet commenting. I liked the show because it was about women who were smart and funny and made decisions independent of men and there is not enough of that in the world.
