I just wonder what the hell went through the developer's head during production. The entire game is marketed as "being a jedi" or "being a pod racer". Nowhere was dancing even mentioned. And hey, I don't think anyone would have a problem with off-shoot Star Wars dancing game. But just throwing it in the game seems

Well ... we did have the worse economic recession since the great depression which wiped A LOT of businesses off the map - not just game studios. I recently visited one of my old stomping grounds and it looked like it had been nuked from orbit.

Arggh, I just blew my wad on the next ipad. Thankfully, the window is open for thirty days so I'll drop some money in the backend - I absolutely loved Wasteland growing up so donating money is more of a thank-you for me. It's just nice to see people talking about it again.

If you want people to look at you as a game developer, you need to develop games. It's really that simple. You can always try to slip in from the side, hoping the dice roll in your favor - but that's betting your future on a slim chance. And remember, every person and their grandma is looking to do the same.

No kidding - I'm usually haunted by dreams of disaster after a visit to the local Mexican restaurant.

Well, without a developer's license, XCode costs 4.99, I think, but I'm seeing it for free right now in the app store. This ide allows you to create everything for the mac and for ios based devices.

agreed —- 1 minutes and thirty seconds too long

dude ... I've worked as a game developer that produced games for playerbases of over a million users that has been translated into multiple languages. And yes, my team did have beta testers and I can tell you from experience that if something like that made it out into our beta releases, then we'd all be working the

umm ... in all my gaming years, I have never heard of a beta build tossing racial slurs at the game's audience. Especially in a game slated for all ages. This is pretty embarrassing and the fact they are non-plussed about it, makes it all the worse.

Yet, ultimately the dev team is responsible for the end product. I think people will give them the benefit of the doubt, but can you imagine the carnage had this been an EA game?

I personally like "Swan Song Wii"

You do realize that this is the xbox I'm talking about? Killzone, Resistance, and MAG are all PS3 titles. A game such as Battlefield 3 should have been 32 x 32 but instead, it's 12 on 12 which can feel pretty sparse at times.

14 + 14 > 24

All that power and yet, multiplayer matches will probably still be limited to 14 on 14

I grew up with Robotech and Starblazers on tv before parent groups (at least, that's what I heard) got them off the air. Watching them thirty years later, I'm actually astounded by the depth of writing, the complex character relationships, and overall arc of both shows (can you believe that a "kids show" dealt with

No. I'm not buying new to support anyone. When did playing games become a case for charity? If a developer can't survive a used market - you know, something that exists for every other industry out there - then they shouldn't be in business. Especially in the console business.

Not really. With hissing cockroaches, you can at least close your eyes. Game testing is more like putting your head in a box of excrement then having your feet tickled.

It's not an Apple issue, it's a developer issue. When creating an app, the developer sets the necessary requirements for the app and then apple tabulates a list of compatible devices per that list. So, If an app requires a camera, it would exclude ipod touches 1g-3g and the first generation ipad.

On the bright side, it sounds like the game is finally coming out of beta. When does it go on sale again :)

So if I bought this, how would this make me a hypocrite? Seems to me that's painting with a broad brush and unnecessarily antagonistic.
