I play RDR all the time on PC. I just launch the Xbox icon on my PC hooked up to a curved 65" 4k TV, and stream the game from my sons Xbox One in the other room.

VR is very different from conventional games. There are games that just don’t work on PSVR, and that because of lack of ‘room scale’. The games just wouldn’t work without those mechanics. Here are three examples. Jon Favreau said that the Vive is the only viable VR platform to realize his vision of Gnomes and Goblins.
It’s my opinion that developers make VR games on the Vive because of two things. Room scale, and the fact that every single Vive (SteamVR) have the same equipment out of the box.
Uhm. This is a PC game that came to consoles. WTF?
It’s using the HTC Vive. I don’t think this would be possible with PSVR headset.....
If you think The Lab was a stupid VR experiment, then either you’ve never experienced it, or you’re clueless. I’m going with ‘never experienced it’.
Valve makes games, and right now they are making three AAA VR games for the HTC Vive. Are you telling me that they are doing this purely for the money? I think bringing up Valve is a bad example. They do things that obviously make them money, but much of the time, they do what they think is cool, or what they would…
Well in about four days, they can play on PC and none of this will be an issue.
That is very, very cool. Love the CRT’s.......it’s funny how you miss things once they’re gone.
Everyday I check to see if Nier: Automata has been patched, so I can go ahead and purchase it on Steam. No patch, no purchase.
They can, and are working on three games right now...............
Uhm, ironically Valve is making three games specifically for VR. Full AAA games, not experiments or proof of concepts.
I’ll just assume you’ve not tried the HTC Vive. It is not a gimmick, and when playing a game it’s not cumbersome at all, in fact the controllers are so precise it’s like second nature.
I never could make sense as to why some people on Steam, give bad reviews of games they’ve spent countless hours playing.
I have no doubt the game is fantastic, and the amount of people who play the game shows that. As far as I know, Ark is still selling well and it wouldn’t be a good business move to simply release the game in it’s current state and call it a day.
I have a feeling the way the game runs, there might be more complex issue’s with the game than they initially realized. For the most part, the UE4 runs very well on PC, even early access games.
Man, I just played Elite Dangerous using my HTC Vive this weekend. Incredible.
Well, if I turn down the resolution too far, it looks like Goldeneye on the N64, and if I turn it up, it get’s choppy. I’m going to put more effort into adjusting the individual graphic settings in the game, and I’ve received some useful advice on which ones.
Let’s hope so.
I’ve kind of given up hope that they will ever fix the performance issues with this game, even with a high-end PC it makes my eyes bleed.
