I don't like most of those shows - but Lost was great and Pushing Daisies had its moments (although it's more of a dramedy than a pure drama)

is Hannibal good? I was not impressed by the first couple of episodes and gave up on it. Does it get better? Or do we just have different tastes… I kind of dig realism for the most part.

I still think Lost was pretty darn good (I'm one of those who liked the ending) … but in general I agree. Broadcasts dramas are almost universally disappointing.
