We’ve created a society where the uber rich can make the stupidest fucking decisions imaginable, ruin people’s careers and lives, and never face any consequences.

Oh, I strongly disagree about Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi. He sounded so much more vibrant and threatening on OBK than in Rogue One. I also could’ve sworn someone actually performed Vader’s voice in OWK and A.I. was just used to match JEJ’s voice, like an aural deepfake, but I guess I could be wrong.

For complicated reasons, we’re seeing this on Monday night, so I went and bought tickets a little whie ago. And the show was already almost sold out, as were most of the other shows on Monday. And Tuesday. What the holy fuck is happening.

Sorry. It was Vietnam that got upset about that. If it matters, I haven’t slept through a night in six months and the cracks are showing :(

Gotta grade on a curve. A Futurama C is a B when judged against most other TV

“I’m sure, once these right-wing weirdos are presented with clear facts and evidence, they’ll drop their obviously incorrect belief!”

I’m really glad Barbie’s doing well and can’t wait to see it, but I hope the success of Oppenheimer means it leads to the release of Oppenheimer dolls, if only so I can make a stop-motion movie which completely changes how Jonathan Hickman’s Manhattan Projects ended.

(This isn’t some weird eight year grudge, btw, I

Same. You can't say that and then not include a picture.

Did... did it spoof Space quest V, a 30 year old game?

I wanna see the weird two-dimensional profile shit

It really hit me as huge a movie this would be when I went to watch this on Friday in my home country. First, all the showings for Friday had basically sold out to the degree that the cinema added a new showing in a pretty large theater. Which was where I managed to get a ticket and even it was pretty full despite

What were they saying about how movies targeting female audiences won’t sell movie tickets again?

It was DELIGHTFUL to see how many people dressed up for it, including the men. From simply making a point of wearing something pink all the way to much more well thought out costumes, I was loving every bit of the audience energy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Barbie’s domestic start will also be the largest ever for a movie directed by a solo woman! I went last night and I hadn’t been to such a joyous movie event in years. Everyone was dressed up and calling each other Barbie and the audience I saw it with was laughing and cheering

David Zaslav: In light of Barbie’s success at the box office and since I’m a fucking idiot with no ability to understand WHY a film is popular, I’ve just greenlit a ton of non-satirical movies based on toy properties. Naturally, our forthcoming slate of DC movies have been turned into tax write-offs.

I swear, the ears of hundreds of YouTube impressionists perked up when they heard Roiland had been fired.

It’s probably a good thing that Rick and Morty’s voices are easy to imitate, judging by all the impressionists on YouTube. There’s even a video of Roiland reacting to some of these, one of them he thought was so good, he feared he’d be out of a job. If only he knew!

I love her, she should be in more stuff
