Well, so... the fight was going to be two falls our of three, and it only went two, one to each, then was stopped. So there’s no defeating of Bruce Lee, nor (maybe) would there have been. And — look, I kinda get the complaint about portraying Lee as an arrogant, conceited man, but... um. He kinda was, I’ve heard.

You mean go to the local branch and inform the teller that they’d like to close their account and they’ll take that in 500 million hundred dollar bills, please? Sounds like that should be pretty easy to pull off.

The company that bought the company I used to work for transferred my 401(K) to another investment firm, then charged me $75 and a shitload of paperwork to transfer it all back.

People Smart Enough to Know What Fraud Is Make Correct Choice

I’ll bet the bank attempted to hit them with a service charge for making the correction.

You sure about that?

a sultry cover of “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

This is the one that will take me back to the theater... and it sounds (filtered through A.A.-speak) like I will get exactly what I’m expecting.

What we think of as “the 80s” is really what, 1981-1986? The late 80s is almost it’s own entirely different thing (and in most ways worse except maybe if you’re into dance music)

One thing I think is different about the ‘80s than the two preceding decades was that it became recognizably itself faster. When we think of the ‘60s or ‘70s we tend to think of the latter part of the decade, but I think except for the brief transition period Freaks and Geeks took place in, the ‘80s became recognizably

Either way its gonna have Lee Pace being good right, so we should be okay there

She was hoping to go viral. She succeeded.

Woman holds up sign reading “You’re All Winners!” Accidentally kills 10 people.

I saw the crash and, while it was awful, this is silly. The woman simply made a mistake that had an unusually catastrophic result.

Pfft. Tour de Crybabies is more like it.

The crowds generally only gather around the starts and stops of the stages so barriers there isn’t a bad idea.
