So Kinberg and Singer fuck up another x-character by continuing to not even try to follow the least problematic aspects of the comic because they’re just making these movies for general audience who could give a fuck and whose basic understanding of X-Men is from the movies. Meanwhile comic book fans continue to

That’s what the “roughly” is for ;) Now we can add Capt. America to that exemption list.

I haven’t listened to them since their first album. They were a fun little band that was produced by Josh Homme and I think toured with Queens of the Stone Age for a bit.

I considered catching up on what they’ve done since. Now that’s a NOPE.

A vegetarian once told me, and it is damn near my motto (if I were a vegetarian)“A happy vegetarian eats cheese.”

Its rewatchable, years and years and years later and its still solid.

I’m not an atheist, but I had a moment where I kinda tried on agnosticism (and by moment I mean like it was a day). This was after watching Julia Sweeney’s “And God Said HA!” and the part that Low describes after he shed his faith about it being “scary yet liberating, confusing yet simple” I can say that is very true.

I dunno, I’m placing my bets he’s gonna be this film’s Hudson.

But unfortunately California conveniently enough has a statute of limitations that prevents that from happening. Because if I were to go and mention anybody’s name I would be the one that would be in legal problems and I’m the one that would be sued.”

I dunno, I’m putting money that The Thing is ready to pop out of his face and infect the whole court:

Forget the rest of the X-Men... Just make a Magneto standalone film with him hunting down Nazi dickwads for two hours.

My issue with Mr. Sinister in regards to the films, is if there was any villain that should’ve shown up by now it should’ve been Mr. Sinister before Apocalypse. In my view Sinister should usher in Apocalypse. In the comics he’s the one who woke him up. Which again illustrates how little Fox and co. understand this

First Class is the closest we’ve gotten to the wacky zaniness of the comics, that’s why in tone alone, its superior to DOFP. Also there’s so much more potential in that first film, until Bryan Singer came back and sucked 97% of the fun out and returned us all to the emotional flatline that are his X-Men films.

No, that’s roughly EVERY trilogy (except Toy Story ;).

Slightly off topic, but I just saw Ali Wong’s stand-up special on Netflix, Baby Cobra (she’s one of the writers on the show), check it out.

Now playing

At this point I’ve explained to myself that Fox has been really successful in making a series of off-brand X-Men movies.

I think from the original article it stated that they had to stay on the island longer because of being charged which means they stayed past their vacation return date and their jobs were affected.

I have southern Florida: That’s the abnormally high heat PLUS humidity.

“I definitely would love to take another stab at the Dark Phoenix story.”

That scene was written to acknowledge the anger of the audience from last season. They didn’t treat her violation as something to forget and sweep under the rug, they acknowledged it and its awfulness and that the plotline made Littlefinger look like a moron.

The Riverlands, The Blackfish, The Manderlys and then comes Nymeria, Thoros of Myr and then... Her Ladyship.
