I miss Bonnie. And the 90s. And vampire pancakes. Let's send Kai, Damon, Alaric, Caroline, Matt and Sheriff Forbes to hang out with Bonnie and have magic vampire wars and stuff and dress in overalls and baby doll dresses. Stefan, Jeremy, Tyler, the twins, Jo, Elena and Enzo can stay in current day and do… whatever.

I am well aware of this and yet… I clearly have self destructive tendencies. :)

I thought this would be the season we would all pivot from pointing and laughing at NBC to pointing and laughing at Fox, but I guess the more things change, the more inevitable it is that NBC will look hysterically incompetent next to literally every other network on television.

They saw Hush and thought they could do it too.

When MG talks about this show, I sometimes feel like he and I are watching entirely different hours of television. Sometimes I try to figure out if he's just in super denial, or if he's worried about keeping his job, or if he just makes things up, or if there is a monkey typing for him, or …

Every legal secretary I've known is about 10x more competent at lawyering than Laurel. As a lawyer, she makes a genius masked vigilante.

That's cool. It must be nice to see her finally getting to do her thing if you like the character! I definitely don't have an issue with people liking Laurel. I don't entirely understand it, but like I said - sometimes I love characters on other shows and the general reaction I get from other viewers is, "???" When I

I think the guy who plays Wildcat got cast in something else, so they basically dropped that whole storyline, which seems highly symbolic to me in some way that isn't fully formed in my brain.

Eh. She's been saying in interviews that she was instrumental to the design choices on the costume, so I doubt it bothers her that much.

I forgot that line. That adds some context. I still feel like Felicity, no matter how upset, wouldn't literally leave her friends in the dark with a bunch of weapons and electronics to stumble over, and it was a metaphor/moment choice rather than a 'this is what this character would actually do' choice, but I'm not

I was like, "HEY CORRUPT LAWYER GUY. PROBABLY NOT SMART TO HAVE THAT CONVERSATION IN THE COURTHOUSE." However, Laurel still talked to the defendant without his lawyer in the room and about the case itself and insinuated he'd do better by ignoring his lawyer's advice and that's probably enough for at least a censure

I find the top three pretty interchangeable and a lot depends on what they are given to do in any respective episode to be honest, and I could be persuaded to move Amell up there. He's very nuanced and he's very good, but sometimes he huffs or does these pauses in dialogue or move his face in a way that very strongly

I tend to agree, except then I read the lines as written on paper, and I feel like they'd be even worse if she wasn't working them as best she could. But her strength is definitely comedy.

Generous, but fair. I concur.

Acting Power Ranking on Arrow (Currently Alive/On the Show Characters Only - Dashes indicate relative tiers):

I don't give a crap about Olicity. I just want the show to pick a path and go with it because it's thempretend roadblocks and will they won't they stuff I hate. But Ray is a creeper and at some point the writers decided his behavior- stalking Felicity, pinging her phone, basically economically forcing her to work for

There are definitely pro-Laurel havens. The two you mentioned and tumblr being the biggest. But there are also a lot of sites that somehow manage to hate her even more than The AV club. I'd say maybe 30/10/60'for hate her/love her/neutral. I can't imagine watching Arrow and being like, "That Laurel is the best, most

It was frustrating because it's like, "wow, dick move" but then I kept thinking it was a very not-Felicity move. Grieving or not, her character (at least in the first two seasons) would never do that. So they sacrificed her character for a melodramatic moment, which is a thing Arrow seems to be really into this

Actually, this episode was by far the most I've ever liked Roy. The Roy/Felicity/Dig scenes worked well for me.
