They have to fall at some point, I presume. I mean, it hit another series high for the season premiere, I think… which is just almost unthinkable in modern day television ratings. Presumably it's got to be near its cap.

It's one of my major issues that lingers with this show.

Don't be lulled into a false sense of complacency.

Come on, now - they had toilet water. They didn't need fire engine water.

This is probably the only show on television where when they start burning plot quickly, I take it as a sign that it's deeply improving.

At this point, I feel like the Beth thing can only be explained one of three ways:
1. We're working our way to a Maggie breakdown where she finally processes the pain of losing her entire family and survivor's guilt and all that entails.
2. The writers are literally just screwing with everyone at this point, just to

I actually laughed aloud three times during this episode. It was very confusing, because I think I previously laughed maybe twice in the entire series.

I wouldn't mind that. Tara doesn't do much for me and neither does the actress. (Although, never have I appreciated her more than that little tag at the end of the scene with Eugene where she sneaks a look herself.) But I stand by my previous assessment that Tara will be around forever and one day I'll look up and be

I don't know. It's baffling. Although Abraham's humming was enough to make me miss Beth's singing. What was he humming? Que sera, sera?

I think the current showrunner has made a couple of good decisions and the most obvious one that pays off in this episode is dividing up the group. It has really helped with character building the last two seasons. I honestly wasn't looking forward to this episode at all, because I found Abraham, Eugene, Tara, and

I really, really loved Suburgatory. Emily Kapnek has a sensibility and humor that works for me, but it's very… you'll either love it or hate it.

The only show with worse law is Arrow, and at least that has less law.

These reviews are truly excellent this season. Much better than the show itself.

That's hilarious. I've never been on the IMDB boards, but every once in a while I somehow cross paths with the Laurel fandom on Tumblr and I'm just like "WTF is this mess"?

That was the problem. She worked for a pro bono organization and everyone talked about how wonderful and saint-like she was, but they never showed it, not really. It was a classic case of showing one thing, and telling another, which never ends well with a character.

It could be worse. He could be forced to play a stalker on Stalker.

I would say the general opinion of Laurel is "meh". AV Club is probably more strongly anti-Laurel than general opinion - mostly people just don't care much. But there is an odd little subsection of people obsessed with Laurel on Tumblr.

To be fair, Diggle does work odd hours, for no pay and no health benefits. I feel like the least Oliver could do is build him a little daycare in the Arrow cave. Roy can be Sara's nanny, so that he has something to do besides look ridiculous in his costume.

I figure this is about as likely as Roy having actually done it.
