Alston's finally letting someone else take over next year - one small step for Homeland, one giant step for The A.V. Club. This episode deserves an A just for the first act, which may have been the most intense sequence since the season 1 finale.

I think it's a bit of a jump to assume she killed him. Like irrenmann said, she could be knocking him out so she can escape without him chasing her; or, in my opinion the more likely option, that he's going to wake up tied to a chair. Her saying I'M GONNA END THIS GUY'S LIFE is the least plausible outcome.

It's not of any particular importance, or a pivotal moment, but the scene in Spotlight were Mark Ruffalo first talks to Stanley Tucci is absolutely incredible. The scene basically amounts to Ruffalo saying "let me interview you", but the acting and editing combine to make it an incredibly tense moment in the film.
