It’s not that they are dirtier it’s that there are far more of them than the gains we have made in controlling the emissions. There is about 100 million more cars on the road since 1990 in the US. And we put more miles on our cars today because of sprawl and spend more time in idle because our roads haven’t kept up

Maybe, but the issue was money. Besides the production costs associated with building a car they would have needed to sink a ton into developing solid state batteries into something workable for a car. That’s kind of the holy grail for ev’s and wouldn’t come cheap or we'ld have them already.

Holding a President accountable is not an agenda, it’s a patriotic and constitutional duty. The process itself is unfortunately political, but the action is required to protect our constitution and our country.

Yes they did. But BMW did away with them years ago opting for electronics instead. That was one thing I hated about my 335. I could get out of the car, rumage through the trunk to get a rag, walk around and open the hood to check the oil faster than that stupid computer would give me the answer. I loved the car but

Hey, if we had electric FLYING cars, we wouldn’t need brakes or tires. Don’t give up yet.

Not willingly certainly. But if the 6 House committee’s do their job right, he won’t be left with much choice in the matter. Prison is a pretty powerful incentive. Then again, I’m not so sure that resigning for a pardon from Pence would protect him. Pence may be involved himself, and Presidential pardons only cover

He hasn’t ended the filibuster and he has control of his party. Plus he has some other options to stymie having to oust trump. But I think the trial will go forward. It’s too much the long shot for him to need to worry about it’s outcome. And if he does get worried, he can simple tell trump to resign so pence can

I will agree that it will harden his base, but the rest of your post is whimsical at best. The Republican party is the smallest of the top three based on registration data country wide. And it’s numbers are falling. Democrats are holding their own while Independents are the majority today and on the rise. Guess where

Actually McConnel has said if the House impeaches the Senate must hold the trial. Not that that changes the dynamics of whether republicans will convict, but it does provide a modicum of comfort knowing every senator will have to go on record.

As a 40 year republican, I have met many delusional people like you. I suggest you seek the help of a competent mental health professional. They’ve been successfully treating cult members like you who can’t differentiate between fact and the propaganda they’ve been fed for decades now.

The EPA supplied all the justification needed for CA to prove it needs higher emissions standards but it failed to detail the true reason for the reason behind CA’s need. That is topography. The air quality in CA is far better than it was in the 80's when I first visited but the problem it has remains, and there is

I got to “drive” the Regal Empress for a couple minutes once while at sea. It’s pretty big at 611 feet and 22 thousand Gross Registered tonnes.

Having owned an XK, but not the XKR, I would be inclined to buy one without worrying about the warranty. The V8 is pretty much bullet proof if taken care of properly and if it does end up needing some work it will likely cost far less than the warranty would. Certain years have specific issues so do your homework

When I test drove one last week the dealer I was at was giving a 1600.00 discount even though they only had one and had trouble keeping them in stock. They had to move it out of the showroom so I could get my test drive in fact. And btw, they paid me 50 bucks just for taking that test drive. You can sign up for that

That depends on where you live since both gas and electricity costs vary by region. On average, assuming you pay for every kilowatt like you have to do with gasoline, the cost for electricity would equal about half of what your gas bill is for the 15,000 miles the average driver travels per year. Working somewhere

I did. 78 was a very good year to be alive. Especially as a senior in high school in a beach town, and driving a 70 GTO. A VERY, VERY good year.

Until it got tboned and totalled by some stupid lady driving the wrong on a one street I was crossing last year I was able to work on my 335 at home, but only because I have a neighbor who is German car mechanic with both the knowhow and equipment I needed to access the systems. Thankfully I didn't have to do it too

BTW, I know these Jags aren't 4 wheel drive, but, if they can drive them in England, we can drive them here. I've never owned a 4WD and I've never had an issue. In fact, the last time I saw snow, there was enough to close the friggin grand canyon and my BMW still had summer tires on because I live in Florida and

I’ll give you the Rolls, but it’s not going to be fun to drive, or affordable to keep up. I’d choose this 2011 Jaguar XK Coupe for 29k with only 18k miles on it. It will fit in, and it will be a joy to drive, and it will be a long time before it needs anything expensive repaired.
