We did some pretty fun driving when I bought my CPO 335 at the BMW dealership back in 2007. They won’t push the limits by any standard, but they will give you a taste if what you can expect. 

Before some blind old lady tboned me last year my 2007 335 was electronically limited to 155 mph. I don’t know about you, but to me, that’s flying.

You should be able to buy a 335 still under warranty for 35k. I did. It had only 8k miles on it when I got it. An M240i might be the better choice though unless you really need the extra room.
