Second-your grades are higher than what you obviously think. You seem too bored to even write this review. Standards for the show seem impossible to meet here.
Why on earth does SNL need someone to 'play' Zooey Daschenomgstop
casey wilson = ruins your point
casey wilson???
Holy shit. I was so blown away by your first paragraph. That's some insight, man. DAMN.
For sure
totally unrelated but brought up in so many comments: why is casey wilson so beloved? she is not funny, can't act and is totally annoying. how did she become the ex-snl standard-bearer?
Master of None is an Emmy nom'd masterpiece. Glad you haven't watched it. Things that aren't produced for the lowest common denominator are usually good.
Fact.
34 here. I don't think I ever laughed at SNL, ever. Baldwin (<3) is the only thing I actively tuned in for….but that was when Trump was the joke. As Baldwin himself says, it's not funny anymore. Nor are any of the skits not involving Baldwin. Weekend Update has always been funny. Michael Che (who has the gig because…
it's good enough for you to judge it for yourself rather than relying on AV Club commenters to tell you what to do. if the second episode's reveal doesn't hook you, by all means stop. personally i've been finding it cathartic and moving—not "soapy"—but this isn't a site to visit if you want to hear positive things.
Could you maybe avoid terms like "turbo-bitch?" Also, "Chrissy Metz is given quite a few of these big, teary scenes, but I appreciate Metz more when she gets to be funny." Why do you not like her emotional moments? She kills it. It feels like you're laughing at a fat woman. Whether you intended that or not,
I've read Negan doesn't kill women? So true or not, I'm ruling all the ladies out (even though Sasha would be a good cop out choice)
Yes, five miles outside DC looks exactly the same as rural Georgia.
While I started "hate-watching" this show, I came to appreciate that it was honest and brutal. When Glenn supposedly died, I refused to believe this show would f*** its audience like that. When he reappeared, I steadfastly believed it would be to kill him off for real—a fake fake-out!—in the finale.
It's a jetski. Not a speedboat.
As a young female lawyer, this storyline is achingly real.
"…had I not known that he's scared of the Dragon's influence over him and trying to stop it from making him hurt Reba."
Totally agree, Finn served that purpose and well. I just never "shipped" Alicia with anyone, or even thought about it much, until this scene with Johnny, which was an amazing scene and, I wish, the subject of more of the discussion :)
