That’s in the Bible, actually, so non-Mormon christians do not get a pass. Misogyny is coded into the christianity.

I read that article and had to laugh. Poor doofus who owns George’s can’t believe these all nice old Bible-beating white guys would sell out the “school” part of their university and cover-up ongoing criminal activity so an historically awful football program could try to become the Notre Dame of the South. This is…
Dismissed without prejudice said it all. Whores get raped, good girls are never in a situation where they will get raped. Boys? Well what do you expect when you tempt them and act like a harlot? His bosses are of the same mind, that's obvious. I'm hoping this investigation will actually change things. I know I'm…
He’s not being imprisoned. Karma isn’t going far enough.
Hiding behind “faith” and “religion” is perhaps the most repulsive hypocrisy around. Nothing says strong Christian faith like marginalizing and harassing the victims of sexual assault, eh Ken?
I don’t do gif’s, but I desperately need someone to post the “FLAMES COMING OUT OF MY FACE” right now.
If people stopped saying things that required apologies, it would kind of ruin the business model for the class.
Also, I totally believe that this isn’t just about football. It’s about bad press. It’s Catholicism organized Christianity 101 to try to hide anything that might make you look bad rather than address it.
(Edit: I honestly had no idea it was Baptist).
“Well, how were we to know?”
“Several students reported informing Baylor only to be met with indifference.”
“Well, these were OFF campus. Clearly campus was safe!”
“What? That’s fucking awful. Also, no there were at least 10 reported assaults that occurred on campus in the last five years!”
“Well, those are just reports.
“F…
...but hopefully not lessons in how to avoid having to make said apologies. This is an example of a situation that was completely avoidable.
The fact that the charges were dropped makes it more than clear how the sheriff’s department feels about the situation. They not going to fire him; they’re going to find a way to blame her for trying to ruin a good man’s career by “making him” share her rape report, assuming they haven’t already.
“...this school sounds like a group of pretentious pricks trying to run their student’s lives.”
The FBI should also investigate this. Aren't they supposed to investigate misconduct by law enforcement?
My university had it’s own jail and a faster response time than the LAPD which for students and parents is a positive for obvious reasons but then again they weren’t pulling any of this small town boundary crossing shit.
Posted elsewhere on the Baylor story: Don’t go to a religious school because if you have any issue that is like.. rape, sexual assault, or just about anything sexual, you will be blamed, cast out, harassed, kicked-out and so much more because the men who run the religious schools are assholes. Case in point: BYU.…
Oh, boy. Who’s going to tell Carri? Because it sounds like there’s a lot here she doesn’t know about...
This kind of sharing happens involving police a lot more than you’d think. Sometimes, it’s far easier to say it was from an anonymous street informant than admit you illegally got a copy of FBI paperwork from an FBI buddy.
Randolf should lose his job.
