It was my friend’s wedding in Savannah. I was a bridesmaid. The groom’s brother went up to my room with me, to “put some wine bottles in the fridge”. Then, he did the best thing someone has ever done to me: he helped me take out ever single bobby pin from my updo and then massaged my scalp. . . .
Back in the 80s, a friend from college invited me to be her bridesmaid. We lived hundreds of miles from each other, and had only exchanged brief letters in the years since graduation. I shouldn’t have accepted, but I thought it would be fun to see her and the people we used to hang out with.
(I promise this is about sex. Hang in there)
I LOVE THIS STORY. I too, am a liberal feminist who found love. But. I’m a Rangers fan. DUN DUN DUN
Health insurance =/= health care
When I was reading that part, I kept thinking that THIS is why we need a single payer health care system. It is ridiculous to have to rely on your employer for health care to be on a transplant list. I know the Affordable Care Act changes that, but the system is still so complex.
I “don’t even go here” but made an account just to say that this is an excellent piece of journalism.
i was at the mall with my gf, she was in some random other store like express or something and I was gonna meet her by the exit. She said 'ok I'm coming'
The Chive is the internet's home for all things "awesome" and "mind-blowing," a sort of Total Frat Move/BuzzFeed…
Maybe he's just been at home looking at a lot of make-up tutorials on youtube on how to use illuminator and highlighter creams.
To add insult to injury, this guy runs a federally funded school where he's been using taxpayer money to teach bible classes while overseeing pretty much all the regulatory bodies that might have something to say about it.
GOSH I WONDER
About six months ago, the apartment I was living in at the time got robbed. Today, a detective called to tell me…
I dunno... maybe she just shouldn't have swallowed that IUD in the first place.
