I thought the video was funny, but I think the reason why people might be upset about the booth babe issue is that none of the women were shown speaking or contributing to the conversations, they just stood there and smiled or toted their guns for Conan to admire and joke about his admiration.

Welcome! Women's soccer definitely has a following, and I will admit I prefer soccer to basketball (sorry basketball fans!) But it would be really neat to see a site like Jezebel promote women's teams in addition to everything else empowerment-related.

There are people out there covering women's sports, they just need a wider audience, too! I third this suggestion, Jezebel! For anyone who's interested, The Equalizer has been my go-to for articles on women's soccer (or football, take your pick):
