I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Book Readers for not spoiling anything and actually filling in details here and there, that have made reading this comment section a nice cliff's notes companion piece to the show.

is it just me or is there an abundance of horse movies on that list?

To clarify: I get the differences of the men,and what they potentially mean, but I feel that a murder charge hanging over his head is going to take away from the other stories they have set up - which are more directed to the music/industry.

I could have done without the Murder aspect…

Agreed. Unfortunately with all these loose ends tied up and with some of the choices made in the episode the writers are backed into a corner. A 3rd season might need some ret conning or extremely creative writing to straighten back out. Though I didn't expect S2 to be anything like this so it's not impossible….

Not sure of the production schedule but the off tone and perfectly wrapped up end has me feeling like this episode was meant as a series finale but they didn't know until later and had to make a"sensible" ending when that wasn't the original plan.
