Great stuff though overall. It is a damn shame that they cater so much to the vets. For my money I’d have liked to see a photo of Rossi when he first pulled into victory lane when he just quietly paused in the car and all the excitement of everyone around him. That was a great moment and it would’ve worked well as a

Bull.

I drove/rode 13 hours in a rental one of these when I was in college. It was terrible.

Is this the first case of an American hero taking the brunt of criticism in place of a Brit?

You really nailed it Tav. Especially the bit about the reviews:

Tell her the driver’s seat might have an impression from Draper’s supposed big, ahem, member.

My favorite was:

I was going to go with Jon Kitna.

Isn’t this Any Rand’s philosophy at its core? Ignore empathy, morality and ethics. The market is king and decides worth and cost and the people who exploit are just doing as the market dictates.

I live in Elkhart, where is that, exactly? If you remember.

I still appreciate the “Gear Knobs” idea that had floated out there.

It’s all so much better than the early-00s single-car qualifying sessions where one car at a time went out and got three laps. That was brutally slow.

If you are of a certain age, you’ve pined after a D90 since first seeing one in the U.S. in a number of late-90s teen movies and pop music videos. When I was 12, I was convinced that every rich Orange County, CA neighborhood must have at least one D90.

There is a hoarder in a town nearby, where I used to work actually.

Couple of questions here: 1) Does a manufacturer plate just supersede any common federal regulation? I mean there must be a mountain of paperwork that VW or any other maker has to fill out to import a model that will NEVER be sold here and isn’t emissions regulated. I don’t get that. It’s almost unfair.

People crying ‘I doubt it’s selling what it’s supposed to’:

A little off-beat but how about the emblem from the late-80s Mazda B-Series?

That was at one point an advertising slogan for the Camry.

So Chris Evans is an egomaniac who is trying to have authoritative control over a show despite having little or no TV-producing success in his past? Sounds like the show will be a smashing failure.
