It's a rush job. That, and it probably lacked a slight Harmon touch.

I know this is inappropriate… but Trump actually isn't that bad of an actor. One might even say he's better at acting than at trying to lead the U.S. into nuclear extinction.
With the exception of "Advanced Introduction to Finality," maybe among the top five comedy television writers working right now.
Oh, put a cock in it, Jenna Jameson.
This has always been the case. Maher isn't that radical, isn't that funny, nor is he that insightful. He's the Bill O'Reilly of the left.
Jones could win an Emmy with this episode. In fact, so could younger William, with those big puppy dog eyes. Really though, while the ending didn't quite stick as gracefully as I would have liked, "Memphis" is the best episode since the pilot. It's especially bold, since this was the strongest arc of the whole first…
It's tough, separating the art from the artist. His performance in Manchester by the Sea is one for the ages, but the controversy surrounding him ought to be taken seriously.
The only major precursor that Affleck lost is SAG. He's won pretty much everything else. I'd say he's still the frontrunner.
Right?? Best Adam Scott episode so far.
McPoyle rules!!!
Yeah. And they did try to work with Barrett, and they even threw him a bone by doing work on The Madcap Laughs, but I don't know. It's just kids trying to take care of other kids.
YES. That poem he reads? It never ends. I love how he prefaces it with, "This was written during the Bush/Cheney years," like that was the problem. It's too bad, because it's otherwise a decent episode.
Second rule: " "
Which I can appreciate on some level. Though, Waters is weird when it comes to live shows. He spends so much effort on them, but then he would get so pissed off when that's why people were at them. That's the entire basis of The Wall. It's all about how no one understands him or his art.
I would have said that about his Pink Floyd work, for sure—particularly Meddle through Animals. But I find his solo work to be especially overwrought.
In short, Waters's treatment of Barrett feels a little more like measures of pragmatism and frustration. Barrett had two good albums in him, and was done. Wilson, on the other hand, was just an unadulterated genius who was forever surrounded by shitty people.
Ehhh… I love Roger Waters as a musical force, but I've never found him to be particularly politically insightful. Hopefully, I'm proven wrong, but we'll see, I guess.
Yeah. The fact that this gets a B is really weird. I guess the first half is a little weak, but that ending is so perfect. Steven has to live with his mom's choices, which includes her absence, but she also left him a family that she know would love him. It's that heart that has been missing from this last run of…
He needs sturdier shelving for his half-dozen Emmys for Breaking Bad. Doesn't come cheap, and the meth market is in decline.
I've seen the trailer for Power Rangers in the last five movies I've seen in a theater, yet it feels like it's on some infinite loop in my life. Never has a trailer made me want to see the advertised film even less. I wasn't going to watch it anyway. Now, I want to make it my mission to keep others from seeing it.…
