Those are two different examples.

But it has a backup camera?

Miata doesn’t need big power when it weighs 2300lbs. 0-60 in 5.7 seconds isn’t terribly slow and is more than capable of taking out “rental spec Corollas.” Add a corner or two and yeah, not even close!

It looks like the wall coming out from the main building is concrete. Coffee lady is really lucky he didn’t hit a few feet to the right I’d bet that part of the counter is not nearly as stout.

Fine, claimed plausible deniability, but this:

Is that Salad Fingers?!?!

A flipper took advantage of an old lady.

Read car salesman takes advantage of elderly person- now if they offered it for this price then no, but if they were looking for ‘offers’ and he swept in showed them a blue book value and paid it he deserves to be sentenced to a long period of searching for 10mm sockets in a field of poison ivy

It is a 64k Subaru. Really. At the end of the day....it is a 64k Subaru.  No kidding it is hard to sell.  I’m as big a fanboy as they come for this car, and I wouldn’t spend that much for that car.

I realize this is a story about regulation, but my gut reaction to the title was “because its a $64,000 Subaru with an engine that dates to 1995"

This isn’t true. To many people, driving a manual is just more fun. Nobody’s flexing, we’re all just having a good time rowing our own gears.

It didn’t “have to be called out”, it’s a cycle of the same people calling things out, decrying the call-out, and concluding we need even more call-out-able things to fuel the next round.

As an actual employee of Uber (former) I can assure you that no one was tricked, manipulated or mislead. Like most people they are either too dumb or too lazy to read what they are signing up for. What people were looking for was an easy money grab for themselves. It is an easy money grab, but for the company. There

$100k Neon lol

Nonsense. The 88-00 Civics had and still has a huge aftermarket following. It was a prime tuner and enthusiast car in its day and now. It’s basically the Mini Cooper (ie. original Mini) of our time. Of course it deserves to be a collector car.

Windshield delamination most likely.

The pedal feel will be garbage

Did we accidentally get a Jezebel article on Jalopnik?

“I have no money”

There’s nothing more expensive than a cheap German car.

Unless you’re an MB tech, have access to free parts, and are old enough to have cheap insurance premiums, I can’t see this working out well, particularly if you’re making financial decisions based on tax refunds.

I love Destiny shitposts. I missed them.
