Its absolutely more of a Nostaligia thing for people who end up purchasing this car. I have a love for Acuras but would much rather drive a base R8 at $120k than this. Though it would like amazing next to my RL.

I kind of agree with you here, as BMW has definitely hit all new levels of weird. But I will say that at the moment, the only model I am unhappy with is the GT. BMW should stay away from hatches, at least for a good while.
