True… on the other hand, there's so much more to Bufffy than the "teen drama" aspect. Which is exactly why it continued to work / or rather worked even better after graduation.

It's actually very easy to lose your humanity in a war, no matter what ideology led to it. The ideology only serves as a means to make the enemy subhuman and thus easier to kill, while theoretically preserving your humanity. History proves this over and over and over and over again ad infinitum & nauseam.
