Affordable being in the mid thirties and up for a well maintained Z4M.

Why the glum B&W pics? Have some Interlagos Blue (taken during the July day trip that I had the privilege of chasing my friend’s Z4M Coupe for ~500km):
Been a BMW guy for awhile; own an f80 m3 and previously owned an e39 m5 among others. Driven alot of BMWs. Never drove a z4 unless 2 months ago....
You forgot about it because they are only ~70 lbs lighter than its sedan brother. All that less car and they only managed to lose 70 lbs. That is what is frustrating.
not really a huge motor but definitely decent output. The 135is:
I LOVE cars and car design both Euro and Import and even some Domestics. But DAMM I cant think of a more beautiful car then the FD RX7. See one in person and those lines are just beautiful. The curves and proportions are just right from the front end to the tail lights. I really think this is my generations Jaguar…
Maybe I’m cynical, but how hard is this? $60k budget, and the last “what car should I buy” I saw was $200k+... throw a dart and you’ll hit something.
Now, an interesting “dad” car at $10k... that could get interesting.
That’s genuinely good to hear. People underestimate the concept that sometimes the bottom line depends on treating your people who help to make that bottom line well - or at least not poorly. There’s a difference between maximizing profits and being a good company.
Mary Barra is impressive in a different way. In the “from the assembly line to the boardroom” way.
GM isn’t doing too bad under her, either. I’m not a fan of how their older stuff drives, but the newer Camaros, C7, and Cadillacs all feel great. Their electric stuff is pretty cool, too.
I worked at Chrysler from 2011-2014 and everyone I talked to who was working there prior to bankruptcy talked about how much better the work environment, handling of programs, and overall quality of employment was after Fiat took control. He did more good for that company than most people will ever realize.
While watching the FIFA World Cup a few weeks ago, my boss noticed players sitting in race car seats, and ordered me to figure out why.
That’s my favourite track. That same day I managed a 1:39.74, also the driver not being so good.
A fully loaded 2-door JCW goes in the mid-40s, so I’m going to say yes.
Every MINI, at every trim level, can be had with a manual.
Can a fully loaded one be had for under 55k? As a diehard R53 enthusiast, each generation after has been worse in terms of reliability, raw feel, connectivity to the road, overall quirkiness, and most importantly price. The only saving grace is that MINI offers every single model in a manual.
Are they decent…
Change the grille and the Z4 could be a Benz, both front and back.
Cowabunga, dudes!
I drove better looking cars while playing Midtown Madness in PC class in high school back in 99-00 ish
Finally! I have been saying this forever.
