I don’t have a problem with articles finding great cars that are now attainable for a lot more people. I think this 360 could be a great buy for the guy (like you) who saves up, goes into it with his eyes wide open and knows there are going to some big bills to pay. The problem is Tavarish doesn’t say that, instead he

Good point. There are people making car buying mistakes all the time. Some of these people are smart but they just didn’t adequately research. Reading Jalopnik should contribute to the world’s car knowledge, not decrease it. For every guy making $100k who gets himself into a Ferrari, there's 20 guys making $45k who

Tavarish’s exact phrase in the first paragraph is “no downside”. In his replies to comments here he says maintaining this Ferrari is cheap. Tavarish is not Hitler but he is dishonest.

The sad part is that even where you compliment this Honda for its 204 horse NA four-pot, its worth remembering that the S2000 made 240 hp, a car that was developed 20 years ago.

You attributed something to me that I did say. I didn’t say that car buyers were simpletons.

Vehicross was ahead of its time. Sporty crossover with real off-road capability. It would be cool today.

It's a huge color in fashion and decor right now. Been hit for about two years.

More McParland please. Best at writing about practical decisions and cars. He’s someone who is actually working with car buyers in a real functional way that no other journalist I know of is.

Looks Fiat X1/9 crossed with econobox. See the real Bertone-bodied, Gandini-penned design below.

You want a BMW whether you know it or not :)

Joliet is straight up baller. Who knew?

I saw that recently. It was Best Motoring and they compared S2000, Miata, Boxster and Corvette. There’s a funny moment when the Drift King says in English about the Corvette “dangerous”.

A spin off is a sale. If two companies have the same shareholders it doesn’t make them the same company.

FCA will own no shares in Ferrari, correct?

I have no problem with your characterization of the car but Tavarish went beyond that calling it “no risk” and in his replies here said the car is very reliable and can be cheaply serviced by independent technicians. None of that is true. Is it a wonderful, high revving V8 from arguably the best badge in the world?

FCA is selling Ferrari.

As Demuro pointed out elsewhere, his experience as one owner over less than a year isn’t enough to deem a car reliable, much less “no risk” as your article claims.

That’s another reason and it’s not mutually exclusive with the first reason I wrote about was nearly a verbatim quote from Demuro.

“No risk”?!? Tell that to Demuro who couldn’t enjoy the car because every time he turned the key he thought of a $40k engine replacement.

Hofmesiter has one f. Don't tell anybody but Hofmesiter Kinky was spelling it with two fs for a couple months before he realized it was wrong.
