It’s a story for sure but let’s add some context too. The market cap is huge—about 1/2 of Ford, GM or BMW. It's also natural for Tesla to be volatile since it's growing fast. Overall if jalopnik was all someone read for Tesla business news they wouldn't have a clue about the company.

My experience is the tesla store in highland park, il. It’s not in a mall. It’s a standalone place like any other dealer.
