i can’t speak for lyft, but uber is here to stay. they have billions of funding available to them for as long as it takes for them to become profitable. there are other companies that are wildly successful today that didn’t show a profit for *many* years. most notably, amazon.

you’re completely wrong. the established taxi system is utter garbage, with mafia-like organizations controlling access to a) driving a cab; b) operating a cab company. the cars were all basically falling apart. uber and lyft have forced them to up their game, but taxis are still several notches worse than both.

Look no further than the Tesla Model Y performance, and pile the cash you save into either a) $TSLA; b) a Porsche 997 cabrio for topless fun.

I cancelled my order because their order sheets are stupid. I wanted a black diamond, one of the option packages, and a manual transmission. The option package forced the 10 speed auto. The only way to get a manual bronco with minimal options is to go base base, or step up 10k or so to one of the higher versions. In…
