Kohler Cimarron; the flush tech is amazing.

“It better be...” - or what? What a silly phrase for a headline.

> It’s the American Way.

Also, cue the apple hate / comparisons, that are really not at all the same, but they’re incoming for sure.

Did you purposely make the link to the investigative report hard to find? I eventually clicked the linked “Vice”, after having skipped over it several times, as to me, that link would tell me about the publication, not this specific article. How about linking the words “This investigation”, or, perhaps provide a link

wake me when one of these rivals is actually better. maybe the mustang mach e is as good as the paid reviews say. the market will tell us soon enough. they can’t give the audi etrons away. despite their objectively good looks.

wow that’s original. did you ever stop to think that perhaps the fact that nearly everyone that owns a tesla, loves it for a reason? they are fantastic cars. basing opinions on idiotic headlines and non-news does not make you an educated consumer, nor a cool hipster. it makes you a fool.

keep doing things based on what others think. that’s gonna work out real well there, beta.

With regard to the inevitable Tesla comparisons, those of you that haven’t owned one can’t necessarily know, but getting OTA updates/upgrades with material improvements is incredible, and will never be mimicked by the establishment.

never really hold up to the amazing design and hype thanks to delays and poor quality control.” - wow you must have read a lot of things. i actually have one, and it’s fucking incredible.

Random facts, leading to not even speculation. “I wouldn’t be surprised to see that production date stretch out another year, with first examples delivering in 2022 and serious production capacity ramped up into 2023 at the earliest.”

fun fact, in germany, they do not specify a break in period in the manual. the break in procedure is only for us customers, apparently.

why? adults can’t like stripes?

NP from me. Those are all desirable mods, and these older bimmers are way easier to work on. It looks to be in great condition, and bonus - I love the stripes.

Haven’t seen this addressed in the article or comments, nor in the buick ad posing as an informational video. I believe the CT’s design was largely driven by the exoskeleton architecture, which also gives it the phenomenal strength. Recall the slamming of the car with a sledgehammer. That wouldn’t be possible on the

not only is it a slideshow, the effing ads all over the damn thing jesus - esp the ones that load an instant after the page and push the content down. fuck. i turned on the content blocker because of it. usually i leave it off to support the websites. congrats jalopnik. you did this to yourself.

Overlooked in these comparisons is the fact that you get OTA features/improvements semi-regularly with the Tesla. No other offering even comes close. The argument about build quality/etc is largely nit picking. We have one of the first Model Ys, and it’s fantastic, and no complaints at all about the build quality.

ok boomer

angry birds did it first; ford gt copied the pigs, not the other way around.
