Ahh. I usually go for mage types in MMOs, however I found that in Rift the Rogue (daggers rather than ranged) was actually a lot more fun.

Tages. Three machine activations with no method of revoking activations. If you use up all three activations, you have to ask very nicely for more and provide proof of purchase. Not the best idea when those activations can easily be lost through hardware failure or the need to reformat.

I'm in love with the visual style of this game, it's not over the top with shaders and fancy lighting. Yes it has those things, but I don't think it's too excessive like a lot of things seem to be more often than not now.

Great game Rift, any ideas what you might roll?

I've just picked up Risen in the Steam sale. Pretty neat game, I'm quite fond of the little things like the smithing and the prospecting.

Picked up Just Cause 2, Oblivion and Risen in the Steam sale. I already own copies of Just Cause 2 (360) and Oblivion (PC) but I'm interested in playing through JC2 with some mods and having Oblivion on Steam for convenience sake - even if it meant re-installing it along with all the mods after having done so from the

You and me both. It looked as if the top wasn't actually affixed to anything..

I'll bite. I picked this up at launch and gave up before the free month was over. I was very sore over how poorly optimised it actually was. Despite having 4gigs of RAM, a Quad Core and an 8800GTX at the time - it kept running out of memory.

I'll be happy as long as it doesn't revolve around Jack Marston.

Golly, that certainly brings back memories.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I can see it as well, it's not just you.

"Now that the Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception multiplayer beta is underway.."

The tutorials are a lot more user friendly than they used to be. I played EVE for about three years before having a two year hiatus, when I returned I had to run through the tutorials because of how much had changed.

That is awesome.

At least if she found herself in another one of those crushing rooms, she could hold the ceiling up with her leg while she shoots at the mercenaries.

Fair enough, that idea never was really explained completely. There is a two parter during DS9 that attempts to deal with it, which sees Sisko, Bashir & Dax thrown back in time (to 2024) where the US has 'Sanctuary' districts to separate poverty from wealth and how these districts came to end.

Abram's Trek is actually closer to what Gene Roddenberry had envisioned than TOS itself is. During the production of TOS there were numerous occasions where Shatner threatened to leave the show or threw his weight around over developments that did not revolve around him as the shows lead.

You're not alone. I have the whole franchise on DVD, but Voyager gets far more screen time than the others.
