His shot can’t approch the ugliness of that fucking logo.

I don’t think trump is the root of it. I think the root is that a lot of people are assholes and that I’m no longer surprised when assholes get more support than they deserve.
“I assume everyone in the NBA is going to try and dunk on him because of his shitheel dad.”
I had the chance to see Lonzo play in person as the fan of one of UCLA’s conference opponents. My team lost a close one but I came away thinking that Lonzo, at least for a college star, was the real deal. He didn’t strike me as a particular showboat or a guy with an attitude, just a really good player who acted within…
I recently thought to myself when seeing the Ball family’s name “man, Lonzo seems like a pretty nice kid. It’s gonna be at least a little sad when guys start dragging their nuts over his face while dunking on him and hacking him with the occasional elbow just to stuff it up his dad’s ass.”
I am virulently against Trump but this is just a really stupid take.
Not so good to prevent exactly that from happening.
How good is Lonzo? Because I assume everyone in the NBA is going to try and dunk on him because of his shitheel dad.
Easily 5 games, but I’d like to see 10 be the standard for any stick-work. Guys need to be taught about not using a stick as a weapon.
Oh, BS, Nyquist. You fully intended to high stick him, you can see the look on your face.
Ironically enough at the same moment the NBA’s toughest man was brought to tears over a love tap to the plums. A tap that wouldn’t pop a pimple.
You can tell by his body language after that he didn’t intend to spear Spurgeon in the face. Nonetheless, he speared the guy in the damn face. Intentional or not, there’s not much gray area in this one. I’m guessing he gets 5 games. Could be less since Spurgeon wasn’t seriously injured, and “results” seem to factor…
I miss the videos from the Shanahan era. At least they would explain the reasoning behind their decision. Now it’s back to the dark ages of Colin Campbell where we just have to guess their justification.
Arguably my biggest pet-peeve about the NHL is that injury is considered a factor in assessing supplemental discipline. An inch higher and Spurgeon is the next Bryan Berard.
I’m going with...five games.
I can see Nyquist’s point when he says he “didn’t mean to do that.” He was clearly aiming for the neck and connected with the face.
“My stick gets caught.”
They were pretty washed lol
You really can’t be serious with all of this. The NBA may very well be a joke, but you absolutely need help if you think a foul that is regularly assessed after a game and can take all circumstances into consideration when a dude is a serial nut kicker is some grand conspiracy. How about this one: Don’t kick a bunch…
How about they respect competitive integrity. Not only did they suspend him for a play in which LeBron threw him to the ground, but they waited a day and a half to do it. If you are trying to say the NBA isn’t run by contemptuous cowards you’re gonna need to do better than that.
