I don’t like the first one, but if something like that made it to the road I wouldn’t be entirely shocked (see: Lexus).

I am not discounting what people are saying as potentially useful anecdotes or opinions. But that is what they are. The issue I ran into on the prior occasion I mentioned was a lot of people saying things like, “backing in IS safer, there is no arguing the point, it is a fact.” When I asked for any studies showing…
Said it before, but you are putting out really amazing work, article after article. Please keep digging into interesting and important areas.
No sarcasm, that was a damn good analogy.
Please spread this fruit far and wide like Johnny or Johanna Forwardparkingseed. We need more people like you in the world.
A few years ago on the car-based sister site someone made a VERY similar comment to the OP above. The comment was by a woman who hated that her ex backed in everywhere. Unsurprisingly, the comments were all about how much better it is. Since I am an analyst for a living, I simply asked for the supporting data. Not a…
I wanted to say that, for a taste test, a bit more on the taste of each would have been useful. But I quickly realized that this is for a Mtn Dew-based energy drink, so... probably don’t need any more description. :)
Fair enough. I think the fried chicken should be juicy enough on its own. Pickles help. Butter on the bun helps. And other additions (which are more often on other sandwiches) like lettuce and tomato help.
How the sandwiches taste is certainly subjective, and to me both are good, but here’s how I come down on the side of CFA sandwich if I have to pick a winner. The mayo/sauce.
He also noted not to make a show of one’s faith, another instruction that these “Christians” love to ignore.
It’s not that liberal. And if HappyFunDad wants to go down rabbit holes trying to pick apart verses, let him please feel free here. [And before someone says it, yes, historical context matters. But if “the christians” want to pick and choose and reinterpret things to fit their own discriminatory mindset, why do we…
Depends how you are viewing it. The Pope is a different guy every 10-50 years. The position is well known, the person is less so.
Because of how the question is worded, “who’s the most famous person ever?,” I have a follow-up. Does that mean Who is or who was the most famous person at any one time? Or does that mean who was the most famous cumulatively over time?
Yes and no. I was thinking the “smallest” Delta IV Medium and the current Delta IV Heavy which uses 1 or 3 cryogenic first stages respectively (LOX/LH2).
Gotcha, and agree.
This really isn’t substantively different than the colonies in North America. People were sent at the time without knowing if they would make it. And many didn’t. Ships sank, crops failed, diseases/battles broke out. People died. That is the cost of exploring the unknown. I’m not advocating being flippant about the…
Usually.
Of the most-used, semi-large rockets launching today, only the Delta IV is LH2/LOX. All others use either kerosene-like fuels (e.g. RP-1) or solid boosters along with liquids. Clearly it can be done, and presumably it could be more prevalent in the future. But let’s not pretend that this is the standard or common…
The SLS is planned to be LH2/LOX (though the boosters are not liquid). However, the Saturn V was only LH2 and LOX on the second and third stages. The first stage was mostly a kerosene like fuel with LOX as the oxidizer.
