In a way, this is its own revelation. For some reason people think of Europe as this sort of enlightened erudite wonderland utopia where everyone was formerly an Oxford scholar. No it’s filled with ignoramuses and get a brain moran guys just like everyone else.

Wow you took that way out of context. All I meant is he’s trying to help the issue (which you admitted is true) and is doing so in a positive manner rather than simply only supporting BLM or the cops.

Good, glad somebody is trying to help both sides and fix the issue instead of just taking one side and further dividing everyone. More people should be like Mike.

Hilarious that even here, you guys take the side of the dude who posts REALLY incindiery stuff over the cops, who were the target

“in the face of athletes putting stupid things on social media”

Thank god that “THAT GUY” didn’t take Friday off.

Counterpoint (and no disrespect intended): Like other “holy” books, the Quran is made up (by man) and should be understood in the context of the time and culture it was written in. Not saying it does not have a lot of beauty and truth about life, but to consider a book the inerrant word of God is how troubles start.

Your originally stated “logical conclusion” was that anyone with a gun could be shot. As in: Ooh! That guy over there is carrying his hunting rifle to his car, I can totally shoot him! At least, that’s how I read it. That’s a completely different thing than “Someone has threatened my life with a deadly weapon,

Ok. Nice side note. Let me bring you back to the discussion at hand though: “anyone with a gun can be shot on site” is neither the logical conclusion to the law nor a colorable argument based on the law. It's just plain wrong.

“If we ignore the text of stand your ground laws and imagine that they can be used however we fear most, anyone with a gun can be shot on sight.”

No it wasn’t cool of Smith to tap Hayes’ bumper then drive off. He should have stopped and they should have exchanged information. But Hayes immediately went into kill mode.

Although his and my politics are quite different I like the fact he’s really delving deep into the character and seems to be more then just a name for publicity that Marvel tends to do. This could be interesting.

Savvy? She was born into a rich family, where she got rich from having a tv crew follow her around as she lived a rich person’s life, where she used her popularity to have someone create a shitty, micro-transaction app.

She’s not savvy, people are just incredibly stupid and love celebrities wayyy too much.

Or she just had the best audition. But, no, faux outrage instead. I forgot this is a gawker site.

People will find anything to complain about. Anything.

Wait, there’s a controversy over a brown person playing a brown person... because of movie prosthetic? Did you see David Morse as George Washington in John Adams? I cringed thinking people were making dumb hay over Saldana being of South American descent. But this is just...weird.

Those girls would have reacted differently if Chancellor and his friends were white. No one is saying that those girls are charter members of the KKK. That’s all people are saying.

What the hell? I posted a link to their website, you know their online presence. It was in the same post to which you replied.

Says the guy whose first reply to me was asking about my race.

All I ever contended was that there were other plausible explanations other than race at play. You, however, seem interested in only knee-jerking your way to racism.

KC’s intent was 100% legit but he went about it in such a a convoluted, misguided way that

Have you worked with local businesses before? A lot of them don’t have a website, or their website was last updated in 2008 (especially if the place is being shut down). Pretty much any discussion has to be done in person.
