Have you ever heard of/read "Couldn't Keep It To Myself" compiled by Wally Lamb? It's about how he went to a women's prison to teach one writing workshop, and the ladies that attended asked him to make it an ongoing thing. The whole book is their individual stories. I liked it a lot.
I love them both!
Fuckin' right Ms. Palmer!
This plays into my fears of a roach or spider lurking on the underside of a toilet seat. You can guess the rest. It makes me want to hurl! I always flip the seat up and check when camping, but not at home. In case you were wondering.
What about the judge in this case? Did anyone but me notice her smile? That made me angry. I thought that judges were supposed to be impartial.
You sound like a very caring parent. My mom used to spy on me (I find out to what extent as the years pass!). I think if you can spy here and there out of true concern, and keep things to yourself when there is no immediate or serious danger, then you are doing your job as a parent. Teens need privacy, but I can't…
She is busy doing action on the front lines! Jez just needs to keep her voice in the press.
My jaw seriously dropped seeing them come to take her away for speaking her mind. It shows that they are very afraid of this lady, and it also shows us how afraid of our government we should be. Well, maybe not afraid so much as inspired to start taking more action to be heard. Rock the Vote!
I noticed a while back that many actresses start out with relatively natural brows, and as they become known, they get plucked. I think natural brows are the best, and I agree that they make you look younger. I think I get mistaken for being younger because mine are unkempt (for the most part. I will pluck in between…
Maizey.....the young one.
Poverty has many causes. Bad decision making is not the only one. I am guessing you are not poor.
I have not! I will remedy this as soon as possible. Thanks!
Gaby Hoffman is cool. 200 cigarettes! Yes Yes Yes!
That's cool. Yeah I hate throwing away food too. My grandparents went through the depression and I grew up cash poor. I am grateful for it now though. I have more skills as a result. I will def. show her this!
Thank you so much. My mom is an expert at bagels and noodle making, all kinds of good carbs, but has had no luck with sourdough. She does everything by hand and I am sad that she can't seem to master this, so I wanted to help her out. She doesn't internet. I am going to pass this along to her when we talk tonight.
Thank you so much. I am gonna call my mom!
Did you buy the sourdough starter or make your own. My dear mother has been trying for years to make it happen and it has never worked. She is a total badass at all kinds of bread and food, but the s.d. seems to be a problem. Any tips or suggestions I could pass along to her?
I always learn and retain much more when I am helped to understand the why and how of a thing. I think it is great that you are a teacher who understands this. At least your students are getting a quality math education. Sadly, many math teachers are not like you. I only had one good one, and I didn't encounter her…
My thoughts exactly. I honestly think that I would. Who even tells their guests how much their food/beverages cost? So insanely tacky. Maybe a letter about how dissatisfied they were with the meal, her dress, choice of flowers, and music, along with the the request for the refund are in order. I am cackling as I type.
