I used to check out this website erowid.com. Don't know if it is still up, but I think it is. It was a pretty useful site for me. I liked being able to read the personal experiences to know what to expect/decide if I wanted to try. I am sure a pharm. manual is a bit more trustworthy though.

Funny about the trick for pimples. Have you ever heard of Zeno? It was a device for acne that used heat to kill the pimples. They were like $100 and the replacement heads were expensive too. What a marketing racket!
