His approval rating among Republicans is shockingly high. But I expect that to plummet if he doesn’t deliver something on their agenda. He just needs to retain those who voted for him and possibly gain a handful in swing states (nonvoters, Stein voters, etc.) to get reelected.

This makes me think of the father in My Big Fat Greek Wedding who claims all great ideas came from the Greeks including the word “kimono.” Except he was occasionally right, as opposed to President Cheeto.

He expects support and adoration when he offers none back. He has had countless opportunities to demonstrate unity across party lines, but he continues to focus on his own ego and celebrity.

Another reason to root against the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

You could call it “separate but equal.” That has a ring to it.

Please oh please tell me she reported this to someone?

What is the best way to voice my dissent over this? If it’s an executive order, I assume congress has no say.

I would also point out to them that the Tea Party movement started in a similar fashion and had a major impact on the next election season.

My grandpa couldn’t figure out the answering machine. Same thing.

Love it. Of course I expect that Congress will quickly move to make that a federally-controlled point (like stating that states cannot require a tax return to get on the ballot).

This is amazing if it’s true. I was thinking that a Republican-controlled Congress would never pass it as a requirement but it didn’t occur to me that it could be a state requirement.

You could have asked what color shirt she was wearing or if she was a Packers fan. It’s just not relevant to the story. It doesn’t matter what she did. The owner called her and her children the N word and told them to come back from where they came from. No justification for that ever.

I will literally mail that reporter a check for $10.

Tears.

Well done.

This is not a normal reaction to someone disagreeing with you. I hope you reflect on that.

I stand by my original statement that you are angry over something that hasn’t happened. You get that being disruptive is part of how protests work, right? Protests are less effective if they are quiet and unobtrusive.

Okay, I’ll play too! I’m mad at construction work blocking the roads. And floods. And presidential motorcades. And parades. And momma ducks followed by her ducklings.

Here’s a live feed of Guiliani now.

You’re getting preempitively angry at the protestors because you’re assuming they would not let an ambulance through. But there’s nothing to indidate that they would block the path for a medical emergency.
