The GOP is willing to burn down anything for power.
The GOP is willing to burn down anything for power.
I think it’s looking more and more like Russia and Trump probably have compromising info on a lot of these guys. A number of them just a year ago were calling Trump every name in the book then all of a sudden, they became his number one fanboys. Cruz, Graham, Gowdy, Hatch. They all just abruptly up and changed…
Always love how the Patriotic base does’nt get that their dear leader is in bed with the most intelligent enemy of our country
Gowdy’s look and behavior suggest an ongoing meth problem, either too much or not enough
The republicans are defending a traitor.
It’s not about Trump the man at this point. The GOP has hitched it’s cart to ‘Trumpism’, so any partywide repudiation is tantamount to the self-flagellation of the right, which I'm sure plenty of them may be into personally but isn't the best look for the base nationally and elections wise. The GOP should never Ben…
This would also make them all puppets of Russia.
Nah. Remember, ~30% of the public are hardcore trumpists who will love him no matter what. If the republicans turn on trump, they risk splitting their party in half.
And that all stemmed from the bipartisan hearings on Nixon that later repubs like Gingrich hated and decided to... do what you posted. It’s been a long slog to where we are right now..
So Republicans and their supporters (Sessions, Junior, whatever), are all allowed to answer with “I don’t recall/remember”, but when someone who isn’t one of them tries to actually answer, Republicans just scream and throw tantrums if it doesn’t have the outcome they like. That’s some nice double-standards!
It’s amazing how these procedural changes can have huge impacts. I personally think that many of the problems we’re having are the direct result of the elimination of earmarks.
House Page: How about the one where Hillary Clinton handed you your ass? That was a good hearing.
Trey Gowdy: I AM SHOCKED OF THE BIAS YOU SHOWED IN YOUR TEXT MESSAGES MR. STRZOK! HOW CAN WE TRUST ANYTHING YOU’VE INVESTIGATED!
The GOP is willing to burn down anything and anyone in their desperation to save their Dear Leader from being exposed as a puppet of Russia.
1000% this.
18 indictments is diddly shit?
He’s turned over much more than “diddly shit”. He’s already indicted 20+ people directly connected to Trump and his campaign. The first investigation into Benghazi began in 2012 and ended in 2016. The AVERAGE length of a special investigation of this nature is 904 days. That is almost 3 years, and represents the…
Diddly shit? You’re fucking joking right?
Honestly, I think a large part of the problem with the House began with the “reforms” in 1994-1996 when Gingrich and the Moral Majority came into power and stripped the standing committees of the vast majority of their nonpartisan staffers and experts.
Feinberg! Awesome!
