....and It’s brown...
Picked up a ‘16 Magnetic/Molten Orange Recaro and now my ‘15 535i, ‘14 F150 Tremor, and ‘13 ML350 sit in the garage. It’s a riot and love the Mountune mods.
One dealer still charges for “rustproofing” in Hawaii...
Miata is always the answer?
Especially in Hawaii where the Tacoma is #1 in total vehicle sales...
For someone who is actually in the market for a GX/LX/LC (need locking diff(s), low range, service/repair outside of Honolulu) I really like what they’ve done to the new LX. Ok, I’m not the world’s #1 fan for the spindle grille on any of the Lexus cars but looking beyond that I really really really like the interior.
This will unfortunately only see shopping mall duty in the US but in places such as rural China this does make a lot of sense. I know of many guys who drive their Panamera/S Class/Continental/Mulsanne *insert any other nice and expensive European four door sedan here* on “roads” to their offices or factories that are…
After spending some time with a Ghibli in Los Angeles the only good thing was the tuning of the exhaust at low speeds. The worst is the ride, willingness to bottom out on every crest and speed bump, exhaust at any speed above 30mph, and yes the “features.” Not to mention my Ghibli experience ended with a 1am tow.
Depending on which dealer they usually have a ton of these. I can think of several West Coast dealers and even in Hawaii almost all of the dealers have a handful of the base trucks ready to go on their lots. Fleet departments or not.
Heh, my last 2014 Ghibli experience ended with a tow at 1am. The car sounds amazing, though and I honestly have not heard any v6 tuned or not that sounds as good or better.
True, cooling would be another big issue to address.
With the supercharger and added weight... they must have upgraded brakes???
Um.... ask a dealer how much it costs to change something “simple” such as a battery...
For a 2wd stock truck it sat waaaaay too high. It’s a good platform for light mods. In Hawaii it’s got a better chance of being “frontlined” by valets than any of my other cars or trucks... Too bad it’s primarily a dude magnet.
Have a Tremor with a 2/4 drop, Raptor steering wheel, upgraded speakers/sub/amp, and side exit Ford Racing exhaust. Excited for this package and Sync 3 on the ‘16s.
On my second Superduty (‘14 F250 CC SB 4wd) and am actually excited for this news. I go through periods where I have to “daily” the truck and peeking out of tight spots in the city and navigating tight jobsites (since the turning radius is what one would expect from a 20’ truck) is a big advantage. Sounds like a…
Haven’t spent much time in the Equus but did spend a lot of time in it’s sister the K900 and it’s 7 series levels of space and features at 5 series presentation. In all both cars (IMO the Equus looks better) are fantastic values. Leather is soft, seats are super comfortable, “wood trim” looks legit. Super quiet. Sound…
Thanks, I seriously regret getting rid of the 930, 964, and E24. Should have kept all three... But wanted to move onto the next group of cars... hindsight is 20/20
Agreed. A former 930, 964, 996 owner aside from an a/c issue in the 964 there wasn’t anything that went wrong with any of the cars in the many years of ownership. Almost the same for the two early Cayennes. The Cayennes had a few minor issues here and there but nothing that would come close to my 163 MLs, 166 ML, E60…
18k?? That’s a little steep even if it’s training wheels for future Lambo “look at me” ownership.
