My dad doesn’t watch Doctor Who but knows what it is about. I was explaining regeneration to him and said a new actor was taking the role. A lot of people were upset. He asked why and I said guess. It’s a woman was what he said. I told he he was right. He just shook his head and called them assholes.

Having an older mom, I am a big fan of older moms.

I’m “only” 29 (about to be 30) but here in the midwest, I feel you on the “old”. All of my friends are in your age bracket and just had their first and (in some cases) second kids around 35 or 40. I am the “baby”. I was still the oldest person in my birthing class and people insinuated that I was of “advanced age”. …

I was shopping for my 6 year old daughter this weekend and the sales lady asked if I was getting them for my grand baby. I just rolled with it. In fairness, she was my age and had grandchildren my daughter’s age so I choose to believe her comment said more about her than me. :D

Yay for Mindy Kaling! I’m always happy to see other new moms in my age bracket out there because (selfishly) it makes me feel less self-conscious about being an older mom.

This is my hope as well. I’ve been holding out for Sansa for a long time and I hate the idea of her being a contrarian because she didn’t win the popularity contest. She wants LF to think she doesn’t like Jon and that she’s unhappy and dissatisfied. She can’t let Jon in on it because it has to be real. And then BOOM!…

I also think that Sansa knows that Littlefinger is going to try and cause a rift between her and Jon, so she’s playing that up by making LF think he’s getting his way, but really she’s supporting Jon by making him put his foot down against her in front of houses.

And hoo boy, would he have lost favor if he’d booted innocent children out of their homes for what their dick dads did.

My take on the Sansa/Jon thing:

They’re idiots. I got goosebumps.

Capaldi is a fucking phenomenal actor let down for three years of Steven “look at me and my big ego” Moffat who treated the show like a sidegig to his Sherlock thing (which also nosedived once he and Gatiss chose to add their own stuff to it).

I might actually start watching again. I mean, I really love Peter Capaldi, but you can only watch so many attractive white guys saving the universe before you just call it quits.

What stands out to me more than anything is that she was here for 3 years and it feels like she started yesterday. What I mean is that I’m old and no longer grasp the concept of time.
