So I have a friend who just got an iPhone and she’d like to know how to deal with all her music (formerly on her Android phone), and NOT have to use iTunes. I use iTunes so I have no idea, but some of the above seem to do the job. I have VLC for iOS to watch videos. Can VLC be used as a user-friendly music player too?

Good to see but I’ll be sticking to Cricket Wireless. AT&T network, talk/text/2.5 GB high speed data for $20/mo taxes/fees included thanks to the 5 person group plan I am in ($35 otherwise as an individual). I can use pretty much any GSM phone I want and I don’t have to worry about the wifi/cell handoff.
