Dang- tried replying to another person and it went wrong again. Bad day....

(Wrong story)

Oops.... Been a little longer than that. Thank you!

How often are we supposed to drain the water heater? We put a new one in a few years ago... well, several years ago, maybe 5 or 6 now, and it seems its performance is starting to degrade in that we run out of hot water faster than when it was new.

I was surprised to see the old (by cell standards) Thunderbolt on there. And yes, it is that bad. If I'd only known. So I have to keep it on a charger in the office, at home, or the rare time I'm driving.

LOD! (Laugh of the day) I didn't see it until I read your comment. Now I can't un-see it.

Seriously. I didn't expect that either. I think I'm going to be sick...

Cool. Even worked for me if I blinked while still staring at the negative pic (after first staring at it for a moment).

I bought a Keurig for my roommate a few years ago for Christmas. I would NOT have done so if I hadn't found the reusable filter to go with it. He loves his fresh-ground beans and we all like not adding to the landfill. As for quality, he uses good beans to start with, so it makes a pretty good cup of joe.

This isn't just for children. I think this would be pretty useful for adults, too. What if you're in the hospital, out like a light? This is also a good way to grant access to your 'clean-up buddy', the one who sanitizes your PC and on-line presence after you die and before the family and other friends see it.

I thought I recognized it! I've been away from the ranch too long.

Between taxes and the economy, the wallet in my pocket is now a negative space. Does this also have a bad impact on my sitting posture?

I agree and I think it's because of the business mentality of 'nothing is free.' They just don't trust a free service. I don't blame them, really. We've all been burned by the free stuff in the past and a business cannot afford the hassle.

Apparently not since, as mentioned by 'tobylane' before you posted, it works well in London.

Thanks for the tip! I use G_Maps a lot and never saw this, so I guess it's new. Very cool!

You beat me to it. I second this as a great option. I can't wait to try it.

Evil! So dangerous! Do you realize how horrifying it is to laugh and puke at the same time? I think I need a doctor...

The contractors seemed to be more knowledgeable than the actual Charter employees, but still had a hell of a time setting the system up. There were massive, persistent billing errors related to this, programming/setup errors, etc. It took 3 months to get it working, and since then I have had them out 6 times t

Agreed! My mother, also on Charter, uses the DVR they provide. She has trouble using it because of the junk UI. She has learned it pretty well, but still has trouble for the very reasons you mentioned.

TiVo has the best UI that I've seen for a device-DVR (as opposed to a PC-DVR). Comcast's and Charter's both stink compared to TiVo. It's just a better system and people are willing to pay the extra for it.
