I think this is pretty awesome! I have a Kindle DX and it is NOT compatible with the OverDrive system that my library uses. So, if this is true and comes to fruition, I will be very happy!

No. It needs to be DC. The AC you'd be getting from the lamp cord plugged into the wall will make you alternate 50 or 60 times per second from brilliant gamer to worse than a noob, just about averaging out to your normal level... except you'd be in pain spasming on the floor. So the final result would be that you'd

I'd hate to be the guy who has to find the dead cell when the light does out!

Haha! Four hours later (and counting) and no answer to your question? I have to agree with you- I'm good at seeing all sides of an issue, and I just don't see the anti-neutrality side here.

I thought it was 'teach a man to fish, not give him a fish'. So how is this 'free food for all'? (I ask this honestly; I am not a bible-reader.)

I use a FedEx bubble-wrap mailer bag for carrying around my Kindle when the weather is possibly wet. Now that I have my very nice case for it, I still do this because the case is not going to protect it from water.

I really want to send this to my friends, but I think I might save it for myself... for later.

Tweeting would be the last thing on my mind- if tweeting even came to mind. No, the first thing to come to mind in an air emergency wherein we might all die is running to the hot flight attendant in first class and having my way with her.

The real trick is to buy lots of extra queuers, paint a bunch of them so they look like they camped outside for a week and put them, well, outside of the store with lots of garbage. Then put in a mockup of some new product sold at a google bucks (yes, a google bucks).

Works in FF, too. It changes the font to the one searched.

Thank you! I woke on the wrong side of the bed and didn't even chuckle at most of this. But you, sir, made me laugh. :D Cheers!

The article was crap, but a nice excuse for posting this picture. I'd like her to know that I am a man who can cry and likes puppies and my fixed-wing strike are never premature.

This is cool.... except I don't Have Win7 at the moment (Linux now). But what I'd like to know how to do is replace that animation of the progress bar from the log in and start up with something more... classy, pretty, pleasant. Like expanding ripples in a pond or smoke moving gently across the screen. Anyone know

Interesting. Thanks! I'll have to test this with a few phones later.

That would be very cool, but I'm not sure about this. How would I send a fax via my cell phone? I Googled a bit (I'm at work, so only a few minutes) and didn't see anything helpful. What I saw were a few services ($$) and an indication that it used to be possible on the analog systems, but that's been phased out.

Disaster Alert would be even better if it were a live wallpaper that stretched across multiple screens. Slide back and forth to see other parts of the map and who's been hit by what disaster!
