9,000 can’t be even close to accurate. Let’s say he’s a New Yorker and he goes to all Mets and Yankees home games (around 162 per year though inter-league messes it a bit) and he’s done this for 20 years....that’s 3,240 games. He’s saying he averages nearly 3 balls a game.
