Sounds like you are purposefully ignoring your only window to know what could be happening in the hard disk hardware. SMART marked as “abnormal”, but you just don’t care to dig into what exactly is going on, and prefer handwavingly blame Synology? For what exactly? Do you mean that they made their own SMART software…
