And, from that model they make assumptions on what the viewers want to buy. Informed guesswork is still guesswork.

No, I'm not. If given the choice between knowing exactly what the individual viewer purchases and being able to guess at what they like through demographic models, they will choose knowing exactly.
Which does nothing for NBC. All of China could have legally downloaded it, it wouldn't matter. They aren't Neilsen households.
Again, the demographics are used to guess at what the viewers like. The advertisers would much rather *know* what the viewers like and buy. The advertisers don't really give a damn about what the viewers look like.
They don't need demographic information. Demographic information is used to guess at the things you like, based upon what other people of your age, race, gender, etc. like. Netflix knows what you like, because they know exactly what you watch. They don't need to guess.
They know the sites you go to. So, they know what you like, who you like and what you buy. All the things demographic information is used to guess at.
You know when you have a Nielson box. There is no assumption.
"Do not measure demos."
I'm glad to hear that cookies are no longer in use.
Are you a Nielsen house? If not, it didn't make any difference.
No. Booster Gold could show up. Some other Time Master could show up. Some one from the LSH could show up.
The team could screw up royally get Rip killed and his wife can show up and show them how to properly kill Savage.
I don't think it made any improvements. 1.0 fits in a backpack. 2.0 fits on a chip.
I could see it next season.
This season we get Ice Commander.
Next season, Clarke gets a Nightblood injection. Challenges Ice Commander. Becomes Commander. Clarke on throne. Lexa standing (virtually) beside her.
OTOH, this being _The 100_ they could just cram all of that in before the first commercial break.
It's The 100. If there's a romantic couple, one of them will die.
Nope. Different, but similar, tech. The ALIE 2.0 needs surgical implantation in to the human host. The "key" just allows connection to ALIE 1.0 in the backpack.
No one was flying anywhere. They were in a hall. Surrounded. The transformation would have taken everyone out.
Is it now Clarke's turn to go crazy and act out of character?
The Ice Nightblood (who didn't end up as a tattoo) will be next.
True. Olsen's ethnicity has done nothing for the character or the show. So, where is the problem? It's made no difference, except to upset you that a black man took a white man's job.
Khan isn't in Star Trek Into Darkness.
Babylon 5 was written the way it was always meant to be.
There's a plan for Lost.
Polis was never meant to be Annapolis.
That it is. Don't make it any less the case.
